UPCOMING EVENTS

COLD WEATHER GEAR

Please remember to send your student(s) snow gear back with them to school. Even if there is no snow, the temperatures are low and the ground can get muddy! We also encourage you to send in a backup set of clothing for your student to keep in their locker in case they get wet/muddy at recess. Snow items include snow pants, boots, coat, hat, and mittens. Please label ALL items.
 

OPERATION WILDCAT IMPACT - 2ND CHANCE KICK-OFF

Thank you to those who braved the weather and came to the OWI Kick-Off event! The families who attended have already raised $4000!! Because the weather impacted the ability for many to attend, we are having a mini kick-off event on Wednesday, February 19th at 3:40 p.m. for 20 minutes, in the cafetorium. We will also have a mini-prize pack to give away! Just show up to be entered. Drawing will be at 4 p.m.

WCA's 2025 OPEN HOUSE

Sunday, February 23rd from 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Do you know a family interested in WCA? Invite them to WCA's 2025 Open House! They can tour the school, meet existing WCA families, and receive answers to many of their questions; all while enjoying some desserts. Have any questions? Email Christina Ban at cban@washtenawchristian.org

THEATRE

The WCA Box Office is open! Stop by the WCA Front Office and get your tickets for “The Sound of Music”. General admission is $12, students are $10. These tickets can be added to FACTS, or you can pay with check or cash.

LUNCH 

Hot lunch orders for the week of 2/24-2/28, are due by 11 p.m. on Tuesday, 2/18.  March is now open  for ordering, please consider ordering for the entire month. New Lunch Item - Chicken Lo Mein with Egg Roll and a fortune cookie. Farewell to Soup season - Let's welcome back Ham sliders with a new side -  buttered noodles. PASTORS’ DAY

Wednesday, March 5, from 8:30 - 10:00am

We love our Pastors and Ministry Leaders! Invite your Pastors and/or Ministry Leaders to a morning here at WCA. We will serve them a hot breakfast, take them on a tour of our school (possibly stop at your classroom!), and then play our traditional Student vs. Pastors/Ministry Leaders Dodgeball game. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

DONUTS

Friday, 7:55 - 8:10am - Donuts will be available to purchase in the cafetorium for $1.50 each. We now accept Paypal! Proceeds benefit our senior class!

THURSDAY COFFEE TRUCK

Tom’s Traveling Coffee Truck will be in the WCA parking lot every Thursday morning from 7:30am - 9am! 10% of the proceeds will go to our PTF! 

PARENT PRAYER GROUP MEETING

Tuesdays, 8:30am, WCA Conference Room - Come join other WCA parents in prayer as we seek God together for all He will do in and through WCA! Join Prayer and Fellowship group on Remind with class code: @wcaprayer. You can email Jenn Osness, osness1@hotmail.com with any questions.

FAMILY SERVICE HOURS
